Fire Door Inspections

Fire doors are in constant daily use and due to wear and tear, they need repairs or replacement more than any other aspect of your fire protection. Our fire door inspections check every fire door in your building to ensure each one is still up to the required standards. We will assess whether each door still self-closes correctly and is in an acceptable condition including the frame, hinges, glazing, handles and other door parts. Our thorough service includes ensuring that gaps around the top, sides and bottom of the door are as required, and pay close attention to intumescent seals and cold smoke seals. At Assist PFP we also guarantee that all fire door signage is correct. Following our inspection, we will provide a comprehensive report detailing any needed repairs and replacements, and our experts are on hand to provide any remedial works or new parts and doors, should you require them.
